Who they are

Founded in 1982, Kellaway Building Supplies have grown to become the largest, family-run independent builders’ merchant in their home city of Bristol.

The company, which prides itself in providing award-winning service that puts its customers, employees and community at the heart of everything they do, now has 16 branches around the South-West region.

Named after its first branch which was on Kellaway Avenue in Bristol, they provide excellent service to tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts alike.

After an accelerated implementation period of just two months, Kellaway went live with the eCommonSense website solution in June 2020.

Who they are

TJ O’Mahony was established as a timber merchants/builders merchants’ in Ballymount, Dublin, just over 60 years ago. It is now part of Ireland’s largest Independent Builders’ Merchant and DIY Group.

The company’s tagline is ‘serious about service’ and the company has put a lot of time into looking at how they can improve their offer to both trade and the DIY sector.

This represents TJ O’Mahony’s first online platform after carrying out extensive research to find the best partner.

Who they are:

Established in 1925, Gardner & Scardifield are the largest stockist of building materials in their area, providing both trade customers and the public quality products at competitive prices. Through the knowledge and experience of their staff, they can customers the complete service, providing an extensive range of products as well as a variety of services and free delivery. Who they are:

One of the largest independently owned timber and builders’ merchants in the UK, employing around 900 staff and trading from 26 local branches (25) in the East of England.

Ridgeons mission has stayed the same since 1911 when Cyril Ridgeon founded the business in the back room of his home in Cambridge – to make it easier for our customers to do business.
